Amanda Field was born in Los Angeles and lives in Brooklyn.
Her work has been shown in group exhibitions at Public Swim, Aronson Gallery, Photoville and Court Street Collective in New York City. She published a chapbook, That Year (Etherdome), and her poems were included in the anthology, As If It Fell From the Sun.
She has taught courses in art and writing at Parsons School of Design, California College of the Arts, University of San Francisco, Brandeis University, San Jose State University and Chabot College.
She was managing editor of ZYZZYVA: the journal of West Coast artists & writers and poetry editor of Chicago Quarterly Review.
